We at the  East Coast Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan  Goju Karate believe that tradition must always be maintain while teaching the traditional values of the martial arts. Our school teaches not only how to defend yourself but how to live a more productive life.

Our school Co-Director of the East Coast (division) for the Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan & Chief Instructor for the Syracuse, NY branch of the East Coast division of the International Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan is Frankie Mitchell Sensei.

Frankie Mitchell Sensei is a 5 times inductee in the World Professional Martial Arts Organization Hall of Fame; he has won numerous martial arts and community award throughout his martial arts career.

Frankie Mitchell Sensei has been featured in many leading martial magazines such as Official karate, inside karate and several others national & international martial arts magazines. 

Frankie Mitchell Sensei  has been featured in the book Karate's Modern Masters: The Philosophies and Techniques of the Art's Living Legends (Paperback, 1986) Author: George Parulski, Official Karate Editors.

Frankie Mitchell Sensei is Co-author of the book Karate Power and was famous for his skills in kata and kumite in many leading national and state karate championships.
